We’re making improvements to our billing processes to make it easier for you to review and reconcile your charges.

What’s changing?

Beginning with your next statement from the University Bursar, you may notice a change in the Transaction Description column. We are beginning to transition from using VDL accession numbers to using the VDL invoice number as the primary reference for transactions.

The Transaction Description will now include:

• VDL invoice number
• Owner name listed on the submission form, when provided
  • For example: IV:26123:4567 Smith, Bob

Why are we making this change?

Most of our clients use the invoice number when submitting payments. By including the VDL invoice number directly in the Transaction Description on your University Bursar statement, we hope to make it easier for you to match your statement charges with the invoices you receive from the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (VDL).
